Mmmmm that edgework... Also admiring a freshly mowed lawn — even neighbor’s — makes me feel painfully American and conflicted.

Did you have a Coors light upon completion? The American Lawn Mowing Act of 1995 requires at least one Coors light or equally watered down American lager be consumed after successful lawn mowing + edging.

While that looks delicious and more up my alley I generally prefer something light and refreshing after mowing or during yard work. The difference between say a Guinness or Stella after some hot yard work is immense.

This is on my list of things to do today, although I have only a relatively small square of grass in the backyard being in the desert and all. All the rest of my landscaping does require periodic trimming and pruning , but not mowing.
